Global Padel Rankings Explained
Consistent performance is what gives you a higher ranking. This performance is reflective of the total points secured in the ranking table. Both the World Padel Tour (WPT) and the International Padel Federation (FIP) use a defined criterion for positioning the players.
World Padel Tour (WPT) Criteria

Players earn points by playing and winning WPT tournaments.

Rankings update over a rolling 12-month period; older points lose value.

Only the best performances count toward the final score.

International Padel Federation (FIP) Criteria

Rankings are based on Premier Padel and CUPRA FIP Tour events.

Premier Padel: Majors, P1, and P2 categories.

FIP Tour: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers.

Points are awarded based on match performance.

Top players from each tournament influence the global rankings.
